The Blanket Archive
Blankey Back
You lost it, or somebody washed it to death, or it went in a move in 1997. Tell us what it was and we go looking. Most of them still exist. Somebody is holding yours in a cupboard right now.
No fee to ask. If we find it you get first refusal and a price before anything is bought.

01
You tell us what you remember
Colour, pattern, what the binding felt like, which corner you held. Half a memory is enough to start. People describe these better than they think they do.
02
We go looking
Estate sales, storage lots, other sellers’ back rooms, the places a blanket ends up when a house gets cleared. It takes weeks, sometimes longer.
03
You get first refusal
If we find it you see it and hear the price before anybody else does. No fee to ask, and nothing owed once we have looked.
We cannot promise yours. We can promise we will actually look, and that we will tell you straight if we think it is gone.

Where we look
Estate sales, storage lots, house clearances, and the back rooms of other people’s shops. Most of them are still out there.

The odds
Somebody is holding yours right now
Almost nothing was made once. Yours came off a line with tens of thousands of others, and most of them were kept, because nobody throws these away.

What people usually say
Nobody remembers the word. Everybody remembers the feel. If one of these is yours, the name of it is underneath.

Tell us about yours
Eight questions, two of them required. The rest are there because any one of them might be the detail that finds it.
